About Future Values, Life-styles and the Web

A powerful presentation by

Thomas Fürth
Research Director of Kairos Future

The Nordic Chamber invites you for this extraordinary event.

  • How do young people in Europe and other parts of the world look upon life, work, society, consumption and media?
  • What are their dreams?
  • Where are they heading?
  • What about the new virtual worlds on the Internet?

In 17 countries in Europe, Asia and North America Thomas Fürth and his colleagues have interviewed 1000 people aged 16-29 and 300 people aged 30-50 in each country.

Young people born in the mid 1980s and raised during the turbulent 1990s and early 2000s are born individualist but no hard-core egoists. They still put friends first and value collective solutions and they distrust everything and everyone they consider to be superficial. Work and consumption are platforms for self-realization. Technology is about gadgets to keep their herd (which is huge) together and to explore new challenges and maximize their opportunities.

Remember to pass this invitation to other relevant managers. We look forward to seeing you and/or other representatives from your company. First come first serve.
