The TAX FORUM 2025 conference, organized by EKP Advisory in cooperation with the professional server EPRAVO.CZ, will take place on 17 January 2025 from 9 am to 12 pm. Participants will get an overview of the changes in VAT effective from 1 January 2025, which include adjustments to the cross-border regime, and the new rules related to real estate, which will come into effect from 1 July 2025.
"Another key topic that we will address is the forthcoming amendment to the Tax Code, which regulates the penalty system, the administration of tax obligations and addresses the transition of tax liability on the termination of a trust. The conference will also present the most important case law of 2024, including rulings on abuse of law," says Jan Kotala, Managing Director of EKP Advisory.
Leading experts from EKP Advisory will speak at the conference. Lukáš Eisenwort will present a detailed analysis of the VAT changes, followed by Jan Tecl with a lecture focused on the VAT changes in real estate. Zuzana Tregnerová will provide an update on the amendments to the Tax Code and summarize the significant rulings from 2024. The final part will be devoted to discussion and space for questions. The TAX FORUM 2025 conference will provide practical information on legislative changes that will affect tax practice in the coming year.
