What does that actually mean—and how can we make it work in real life? That’s what we’ll explore together.

Fatherhood is evolving – and organizations are learning how to respond to this shift. The role of a father is essential, yet often shaped by expectations and “baggage” carried from the past.

Supporting fathers in their role is increasingly important – both at home and in the workplace. Done well, it contributes to stronger leadership, more inclusive cultures, and better performing teams.

About David Škrobánek

David Škrobánek is the founder of Dobrý táta, an initiative that supports men on their journey through fatherhood and professional life. He provides individual mentoring and leads workshops for (not only) fathers – from inspirational talks and practical sessions to a comprehensive Academy for Fathers. He is also the organizer of the first Czech business conference focused on fatherhood, Táta v 21. století, and the founder of the podcast Dobrý táta – conversations (not only) for fathers. In addition, he organizes father-and-child weekend events such as “Víkendovka,” designed to strengthen relationships and create meaningful shared experiences between fathers and their children.

What David shares is not just theory – it is rooted in his own experience as a father of five children living in a blended family. This gives him a deep understanding not only of the challenges of everyday parenting, but also of the complexities of modern family dynamics and the search for balance between work and family life. Alongside this personal experience, he continuously builds on scientific insights and exchanges knowledge with respected experts in psychology, education, and leadership.

For his work, David received the “Creative Hero” award from the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic. He has appeared on Czech Television, DVTV, the Slovak talk show Trochu inak s Adelou, and Czech Radio interviews hosted by Lucie Výborná and Vladimír Kroc.

Before founding Dobrý táta, David spent nearly 20 years working in HR within international companies, including his final four years as HR Director for Northern Europe, based in London.
