The time has come and we have the pleasure to welcome new
Ambassador of Denmark H.E. Soren Kelstrup in person.
"I consider it an honor and a privilege to be able to serve my country in beautiful Prague. My task is to promote Danish-Czech cooperation in politics, trade, culture and other areas. Fortunately I have an excellent and competent staff at the embassy to help me – I could not achieve anything without them. Furthermore, I have already met a lot of good people with whom cooperation will be easy and substantial – I am counting the members of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce among those!
So my job description is a broad one – and focus will change along the way. Right now the sad situation in Ukraine is obviously related to much of what we do on the political side. On the commercial side, supporting and promoting cooperation in the green European transition is another key task. And with the incoming Czech EU presidency from 1 July, we will certainly be occupied with receiving delegations of Danish delegations."
