ABB invests CZK 271m in development, has robotics centre
(CIANEWS) - In 2021, ABB started building a new production and development robotics centre at the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park in Mošnov. The total investment in a currently functioning centre exceeded CZK 300m, resulting in approximately 120 skilled jobs. In addition, ABB has located its existing global centre for robot repairs and refurbishment. Last year, the company spent CZK 271.29m on research and development in the Czech Republic, according to the information contained in its annual report, which states that ABB posted a turnover of CZK 12.65bn, and its operating profit was CZK 999.08m.
