(ČIA) The Association of Czech Furniture Manufacturers (AČN) criticises the Czech kurzarbeit concept as passed by the Czech Chamber of Deputies. The Association asks for the kurzarbeit act to exclusively follow the German model without any Czech loopholes and points out that even only one company in German-speaking countries can use kurzarbeit. According to the Association, the recent launch of the Antivirus programme for the automotive industry is a politically motivated act that distorts the market. The Association asks to formulate the kurzarbeit act so that its launch is independent of political decisions and the state budget.
