(CIANEWS) - By June 2023, the Association of Regions of the Czech Republic (AKČR) will develop a proposal for the Czech Government on changes to the shares of individual regions in the budget allocation of taxes. Currently, the designation is at 9.78%, with revenue increases expected in 2023 and 2024. The government also discussed with representatives of the regions the reorganisation of the Czech Post in the next two years. Interior Minister Vít Rakušan (STAN) reiterated to the regional governors that there will be no closures in places with one branch. The Medical Emergency Service (LPS) was also on the agenda. There was a consensus on the need to establish a clear network of the LPS and to link it to the network of emergency admissions. The Ministry of Health intends to submit the relevant legislation before the holidays. The meeting with the governors also discussed renewable energy sources or Lex Ukraine V.
