AMSP: One half of SMEs use circular economy principles

(CIANEWS) - Half of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) use the principles of the circular economy. Almost all companies use at least one of the principles, only some of them are not aware of it. This results from a survey conducted by Ipsos for the Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Tradesmen of the Czech Republic (AMSP). Josef Jaroš, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, said that the most common reasons for interest in the circular economy are the desire to save money or to adapt to the trend of business sustainability. Companies most often sort waste and use eco-friendly materials. Barriers to the introduction of circularity principles are a lack of information and finance.
