(CIANEWS) - Associations representing the automotive and electric vehicle industry are calling on the Prague City Hall to reconsider the idea of ending free parking for electric vehicles early. People thinking of buying an e-car may prefer a car with a conventional combustion engine because of the end of free parking, with which they will contribute to further air and noise pollution in the streets. This was reported by the Automotive Industry Association, adding that of the 6.5 million cars in the country, e-cars account for a negligible proportion - 2.03% of registrations in 2022 and only 1.28% in 2021.
