Bartoš: Digitization, tourism and cohesion as priorities

(ČIA) After a meeting on February 21, 2021 in Brussels, Deputy Prime Minister for Digitization and Minister for Regional Development Ivan Bartoš (Pirates) stated that during its presidency of the EU, the Czech Republic will present cohesion policy as a long-term, flexible and modern EU policy which is of exceptional and irreplaceable significance for the development of all regions. It also wants to actively address digitization, the introduction of a European digital identity and the involvement of artificial intelligence. Another topic will be the long-term tourism strategy and specific measures in response to the pandemic, including the evaluation of its impacts.
