Bisnode: Almost 98,000 sole traders suspended business

(ČIA) A total of 98,155 self-employed persons suspended their business in 2020. 5% of all registered male entrepreneurs and 4% of female entrepreneurs interrupted their trade. The analysis was published by Bisnode and Dun & Bradstreet Company. Men most often interrupted their trade in the field of site preparation, in a total of 4595 cases. Self-employed women interrupted their activity the most in the field of hairdressing and beauty services (3374). At the end of the year, over 2.14 million self-employed persons were registered in the Czech Republic, of which 61% were men and 36% women.
