(ČIA) In January 2021, 25,534 self-employed persons suspended their business activities, which is 50 % more year-on-year. It was mostly in the free trade Production, trade and services not listed in the annexes. This is based on the data of Bisnode A Dun & Bradstreet Company. On the other hand, the highest relative increase was recorded in wholesale intermediation (+ 126 %), support activities in agriculture (+ 94 %) and road freight transport (+ 76 %). In absolute terms, significant increases were recorded in catering and site preparation. Almost 100,000 self-employed persons suspended their business activities in 2020 (+40 %).
