CEEC: 42% building companies see robotics as unrealistic

(CIANEWS) - Robotics is actively used by 15% of construction companies. The Quarterly Analysis of the Czech Construction Industry Q3/2022 prepared by CEEC Research also shows that 64% of the surveyed directors perceive automation in the construction industry as an inevitable development. Construction companies see its benefits mainly as a solution to labour shortages and as an opportunity to reduce costs. However, under current conditions, 42% of construction companies consider robotics unrealistic. Robert Krestýn, CMO & Business Development at Wienerberger, commented that the company is developing a bricklayer robot. It intends to launch it in 2H 2023.
