ČEZ nuclear fast charger supplies 3 MWh to cars

(ČIA) The ČEZ fast-charging station near the Dukovany power plant supplied 3,026 kWh of electricity to electric vehicles in six months of operation. The station is supplied exclusively from the zero-emission nuclear source and is fully adapted to charging the widest-spread types and brands of e-vehicles. This ABB station with an output of 50 kW and two DC connectors can restore the majority of e-vehicle batteries’ capacity in several tens of minutes. E-motorists filled up at the station 264 times in the first half of 2020. A total of three ČEZ charging stations are operated near the Dukovany power plant. The Group operates seven of them in the entire Vysočina Region and 19 more in the neighbouring South Moravian Region.
