(CIANEWS) - ČEZ plans to commission about 40 ultra-fast charging stands with a capacity of 150-300 kW in 2023. It plans to increase the growth of electricity consumption for electric vehicle batteries by more than 20%. The energy supplier will commission 130 charging stations in 2022. During 265,000 stops, drivers at its stands drew more than 4.4 million kWh (+25% y/y) of certified emission-free electricity from renewable sources. In addition to its own funds, ČEZ uses a European grant from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and funds allocated by the Operational Programme Transport to finance the development of electromobility.
