(CIANEWS) - The foreign debt of the Czech Republic at the end of Q2 2022 was CZK 4,566.9 billion (i.e. 74.3 % of GDP). Compared to the same period of the previous year, it is CZK 338bn higher. This was announced by the Czech National Bank (ČNB). The deficit of the investment position vis-a-vis abroad (the balance of financial assets and liabilities of Czech residents in relation to non-residents) increased by CZK 57.5bn to CZK 1,127.3bn. In a year-on-year comparison, it was CZK 278.6bn higher and in relation to GDP represents 17.5 % at current prices.
