(ČIA) Entrepreneurs continue to complain about the significant shortage of professionals. It will increase during the year, as almost every second company views the development of its own business in 2021 positively. This follows from a business survey by the Czech-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ČNOPK), according to which the lack of professional staff is considered by most investors (approximately 60 %) to be by far the greatest risk to their business in the next 12 months. The pandemic also removed the pressure to raise wages. The vast majority of companies (87 %) now do not expect any or only small to modest wage growth. However, according to ČNOPK, this means only a short rest period for companies. Salaries could soon start to grow significantly again.
