(CIANEWS) - Construction output in the Czech Republic fell by 0.4% y/y in real terms in August 2022. Building authorities issued 9.1% fewer building permits (7,425) y/y and their indicative value fell by 6.3% to CZK 38bn. Year-on-year, 12.0% fewer apartments were started and 60.9% more apartments were completed. The Czech Statistical Office reported that the growth in construction output was further dampened by high prices of construction work and materials.
