(CIANEWS) - The current form of the EURO 7 standard is not acceptable and must be changed. Czech Transport Minister Martin Kupka (ODS) shared this opinion with his German counterpart Volker Wissing. Neither the Czech Republic nor Germany will continue to support restrictions on internal combustion engines after 2035 unless there is a clear and binding exemption for the use of synthetic fuels. This is a condition that the Czech Republic pushed for during its presidency and the European Commission promised. Mr Kupka said that the two countries had agreed to form a broader coalition to present their demands in Brussels in mid-March 2023.
