CR has twice the inflation of EU, highest prices in V4

(CIANEWS) - In May 2023, the year-on-year inflation in the European Union dropped to 7.1% after 8.1% in April 2023; in the eurozone, it decreased from 7.0% to 6.1%. According to Eurostat, consumer prices grew the quickest in the Visegrad Group countries: 21.9% in Hungary, 12.5% each in the Czech Republic and Poland, and 12.3% in Slovakia. On the other hand, they grew the slowest in Luxembourg (2.0%) and Belgium (2.7%).
