ČVUT gains CZK 77m for programming language research

(ČIA) Scientists from the Faculty of Information Technology at the Czech Technical University in Prague (ČVUT) have been awarded an Advanced ERC grant worth CZK 77m for research on making updates to programming languages more efficient and cheaper. To remain usable in the long term, they must respond to developments in hardware, expanding with new features while adapting to new end-user requirements. Researchers will focus on the expressiveness of the languages, as well as their safety, to eliminate programming errors as much as possible.
