Czech-Swiss company completes construction of chemical plant in Sweden
Norwegian fertiliser producer Yara ordered the construction with Czech Chemoproject Nitrogen company in 2015. Two years later, Chemoproject Nitrogen was acquired by Switzerland’s Casale and renamed Casale Project. With a capacity of 685 tons of nitrogen acid per day, the plant is the tenth nitrogen acid production facility built by the company in the past ten years. Czechs also supplied backup power sources designed by Zeppelin CZ. Nitrogen acid is the basic raw material for the production of nitrogen fertilisers made by Yara.
