(CIANEWS) - The number of bankruptcies of companies in the Czech Republic in the year 2021 increased by 9 % y/y to 929. This follows from the analysis of 43 economies of the Global Bankruptcy Report of Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). In Central Europe, bankruptcies increased rapidly in the case of Hungary (+ 36 %), Slovakia (+ 19 %) and Poland (+ 16 %). Ukraine (+ 306 %) became the record holder, followed by Kazakhstan (+ 236 %). D&B analyst Petra Štěpánová added that Poland and Vietnam reported the highest number of bankruptcies in the monitored economies.
