(CIANEWS) - DB Schenker is expanding its fleet in the Czech Republic with the new Volvo FM 42 Tractor Electric. The 24t tractor will be used to shuttle between DB Schenker's distribution centre in Blučina and a nearby plant of a high-tech customer. The truck is equipped with a traction battery with a total capacity of 540 kWh. The expected range is eight hours and will be charged via a wall charger. DB Schenker is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2040.
