(ČIA) UPDATE - The Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic approved in the first reading the draft state budget for 2021 with a planned deficit of CZK 320 billion. The draft was also supported by President Miloš Zeman. He also agreed with the contribution of CZK 5,000 for pensioners and a compensation bonus for the self-employed. In terms of the income tax after the abolition of the super-gross wage he is in favor of the proposal of Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) at rates of 15 and 23%, which means an annual loss of CZK 90 billion for the budget. However, according to M. Zeman, the reduction should last only two years.
