Digitisation could create twice as many jobs as it destroys in Finland, claims report
The global management consulting firm estimates that for every job destroyed by digitisation, as many as two could be created in the country over the next five years. Digitisation could also enable the country to double its gross domestic product growth rate, according to the report. “Two factors are required to realise the potential: the formation of a single digital market in the EU and the utilisation of new technologies,” Santeri Kirvelä, a partner at BCG Finland, says.
