Dlouhý: EU green policy must consider CR's specifics

(ČIA) The immediate task for the Czech Republic is to move towards a different way of regulating the energy market. This was stated by the president of the Czech Chamber of Commerce (HK ČR), Vladimír Dlouhý. According to him, the basic problem of further economic development lies at the intersection of policies in the field of energy, industry and the environment. Bad economic policy can stop further convergence of the Czech economic level with developed Western Europe, while good policy can speed it up. He added that the Chamber does not question the need to respond to climate change, but the green policy must take into account the specific conditions of individual member states.
