(CIANEWS) - According to preliminary estimates, the Czech Republic’s gross domestic product (GDP), adjusted for price influences and seasonality, increased 0.2% quarter on quarter and 3.6% year on year in the second quarter of 2022. This information was provided by the Czech Statistical Office, adding that final-consumption expenditures and gross-capital creation supported the year-on-year increase. The sectors of commerce, transport, accommodation and hospitality contributed towards it in particular. The construction sector and the majority of service sectors also did well. However, the negative influence of foreign demand remained.
