With a staff of 10 – and planning to hire another 10 employees this year – the Centre deals with cyber security issues, such as data transmission security and the internet of things. It also pursues close cooperation with the Czech Technical University in Prague. Number two in the global home appliance market, Sweden’s Electrolux is the market leader in the Czech Republic. In 2015, the corporation posted a profit of CZK 26 million in the Czech Republic with a turnover of CZK 2.2 billion. Last year’s sales figures were slightly higher, Electrolux has announced.
