(CIANEWS) - In January 2023, members of the European Parliament (EP) shall agree on their position regarding the legal framework for artificial intelligence (AI). The objective is to create a single regulatory and legal foundation for AI in accordance with EU values. In February, rules for cryptocurrencies will be discussed, which should protect consumers and determine guarantees against market manipulation and financial criminality. The EP will also continue to strive for climate neutrality by means of decarbonising all sectors. It will also focus on renewable energy sources (RES). The share of RES of the total gross consumption should increase to 40% by 2030.
