(ČIA) Ericsson has commenced talks about deployment of 5G networks in the Czech Republic. Operator O2 had already in 2019 launched 5G testing in cooperation with Ericssson in Kolín. The company will evaluate experiences from pilot operations and it will select a partner for the operation of 5G networks. In recent weeks Ericsson has been reporting the signing of contracts pertaining to 5G networks in Germany, Hungary and Poland, with partners Telefónica Deutschland, Magyar Telekom and Polish operator Plus.
