(ČIA) At the meeting of the Environment Council, the ministers of the EU member states confirmed the agreement to increase the EU's climate goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to at least 55% by 2030. The Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic (MoE) informed that the ministers further discussed the new Strategy for Sustainability in the Field of Chemicals, issued by the European Commission on 14 October 2020. They also adopted conclusions on the circular economy and the link between digitization and the environment.
