Finland ranks 3rd among innovative countries in EU

Sweden has been considered the most innovative country followed by Denmark in the past years. Finland is at the forefront when comparing financial sector operating environments. Sweden's strengths in turn are human resources and quality of academic research. According to the Commission, the growth rate for innovation is highest in Latvia, Malta, Lithuania, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Innovation is expected to improve across the EU over the next two years. Most companies are planning on maintaining or increasing their current levels of investment over the next year.
