The company, which ranks among the leading residential developers in Prague, plans to accelerate its growth in Central Europe in cooperation with strong financial partners. YIT Group President and CEO Kari Kauniskangas said that the company had conducted talks with the Czech PPF Group and other potential partners. The company envisages a joint venture with YIT being responsible for development and construction issues and its partner securing finances and plots of land. This model has proved successful in Finland and the company is set to apply it in other countries too. Mr Kauniskangas says that the company expects major growth in Finland and the CEE countries, with the outlook for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland being the most favourable. (Ihned.cz)
