FinMin submitted draft state budget with a deficit of CZK 320bn

(ČIA) The Finance Ministry of the Czech Republic presented to the government a draft state budget for 2021 with a planned deficit of CZK 320bn. Income should reach CZK 1,328.2bn and expenditures CZK 1,648.2bn. The main aim of the state budget is according to the Finance Ministry to use the Czech Republic’s low level of public indebtedness to implement measures that will help sustain and improve the living standards of residents, dampen the negative effects of the pandemic on the groups hit hardest and through record investments totaling CZK 186.9bn to renew strong economic growth as fast as possible.
