Finnish Customs ranked among world’s best
Compiled every two years, the LPI seeks to identify challenges and opportunities faced by countries in their performance in trade logistics and where improvements can be made. A total of 160 countries were surveyed across a number of trade indicators. Alongside Finland’s positive result for customs, it was also placed 11th in tracking and tracing, and 16th in infrastructure, timeliness and logistics competence. Overall, Finland came in at 15th position on the LPI listing. This represents a stronger result than 2014’s index, where it was ranked 23rd. Germany topped the rankings for the third time, with Luxembourg, Sweden, the Netherlands and Singapore rounding out the top five. (Good News From Finland)
