Finns on an international acquisition spree
Finnish offshore and marine industry supplier MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has acquired Rapp Marine Group (RMG) to strengthen its fishery and research vessel segment. Kalmar, also part of Cargotec, has signed an agreement to acquire the port services business of Inver Engineering in Australia. Elsewhere, technology group Wärtsilä has purchased Trident, a Dutch company specialising in underwater ship maintenance, inspection and repair services. - Good News from Finland -
