Firms did not solve cybersecurity in pandemic

(ČIA) Selected automated IT technologies are crucial for three quarters of Czech firms and they cannot imagine efficient operation without them. This was shown by a survey conducted by Soitron. Companies solving processes manually saw a problem with the lack of digitization during the pandemic. COVID-19 has accelerated the implementation of new technologies in some companies. According to David Dvořák, the head of IT Advisory unit in Soitron, the companies postponed the solution of cybersecurity during the pandemic, however, they were vulnerable during the shift of employees to the home office. It takes an average of 214 days to find a cyberattack.
