Government approves bill that will allow people to vote in quarantine

(ČIA) On August 17, 2020, the Government of the Czech Republic approved a bill submitted by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, which will allow persons who are in isolation or quarantine due to coronavirus to vote in the autumn elections. The law will also allow voters placed in facilities that have been closed by a decision of the regional hygiene station. The proposal also increases the remuneration of members of district election commissions by CZK 500.
