(CIANEWS) - The government has updated its cabinet manifesto in which it reacts to the war in Ukraine and its impacts on Czech citizens. This statement was made by Prime Minister Petr Fiala (ODS), adding that the objective was to continue stabilising public finances, being EU-oriented, supporting digitalisation and preparing a pension reform. Furthermore, the government passed a pledge to spend 2% of GDP on defence in 2024 and to create a plan for constructing a motorway network and high-speed routes, including its financial framework. Furthermore, it wants to target social assistance as much as possible, adapt energy legislation and create a system for applying medication policy to prevent drug blackouts on the market.
