(ČIA) UPDATE - The government of Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) has in accordance with the act on security of the Czech Republic declared a state of emergency. The reason is the health threat posed by coronavirus SARS CoV-2. The state of emergency starts on October 5 and will last 30 days. During this time mass events in indoor spaces for more than 10 people and outdoor events for more than 20 people will be prohibited. High schools in regions with higher infection rates will close for 14 days. The number of guests at weddings and funerals will be limited to 30, as of October 19, 2020.
