Govt orders testing of all employees, shorter quarantine

(ČIA) At its session on January 5, 2022, the Czech government approved shortening the quarantine and isolation in connection with the omicron variant of COVID-19 to five days, effective January 11, and testing all employees with antigen self-tests twice a week from January 17, 2022. Health Minister Vlastimil Válek (TOP 09) announced that the quarantine and isolation will also apply to vaccinated people and people who have already had COVID-19.
