H&M Czech reports profit of CZK 143 million

The chain’s sales rose by 13% to CZK 2.77 billion and it plans to open five new stores this year, the annual report reads. The corporation does not expect any major swings of its economic results next year, compared with the fiscal year ending on 30 November 2015. This year, the corporation wants to focus on sales and cost efficiency. Opening one new store in the Czech Republic last year, H&M operates 44 stores with a staff of 864. Operating on the Czech market since 2003, the corporation launched a webshop last year. It is the owner of the COS, Monki, Weekday, Cheap Monday and & Other shops brands. (Lidovky.cz)
