The company will focus on further development of its production unit in Russia, which is to serve as a base for its exports to Asia. One of the reasons for the expansion is the fact that the Czech market has become less profitable for the company, explains CEO Martin Štrupl. Thanks to the acquisition by Orkla, Hamé is to double its turnover in Central Europe. Orkla’s previous acquisitions in the region include Vitana, Felix and Orkla Foods Romania.
