(ČIA) Rental housing provider Heimstaden will invest almost CZK 2.5bn in new projects and renovations in 2022. Of this, 560m will be spent on insulation, up CZK 200m y/y. The largest insulation projects will be completed in Slovenská street in Karviná (CZK 50m), Dr. Vaculíka street in Frýdek-Místek (CZK 30m) and Resslova street in Havířov (CZK 17m). The group will further invest CZK 775m in renovation of vacant flats, CZK 122m in health and sewerage systems, CZK 100m million in roofs and CZK 43m in elevators. Jan Rafaj, CEO of Heimstaden's Czech subsidiary, added that the group is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 46% by 2030.
