(ČIA) If companies had a legal duty to test their employees for coronavirus, it would bring high costs for entrepreneurs already hit by the crisis. The government should thus introduce a system of at least partial compensations by the state and health insurers if it would introduce the mandatory testing. The Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic (HK) thus reacts on words of Czech PM Andrej Babiš (ANO), who admitted the possibility of mandatory testing in firms. HK ČR President Vladimír Dlouhý said that the state must also secure a sufficient capacity of laboratories able to process a high number of tests in a reasonable period.
