It's brand value has soared 83 percent on last year, faster than any other country in the world, and is expected to “continue to enjoy unrivalled growth in the near future”. Iceland’s booming tourism sector is expanding its share of GDP at the expense of the traditionally dominant fishing sector. Other Nordic countries’ brands are not growing as fast, but are ranked higher overall. Norway's brand value grew 15 percent and jumped to the 9th place, scoring 85.6 out of 100. Sweden's brand value dropped 5 percent but still made it to the top ten. 85.9 in total score resulted in the 8th place.
