The ceremony took place as part of Indywood Films Carnival in India, one of the biggest promotional festivals in the film industry. Einar Tómasson, who leads the Film in Iceland program on behalf of Promote Iceland, accepted the award. "This kind of award is greatly appreciated as it brings a lot of attention. It's not bad receiving a star such as Shah Rukh Khan to the country as well".
