(ČIA) At its meeting on March 1, 2021, the government of the Czech Republic approved a proposal to raise the sick pay to people being in quarantine or isolation due to the COVID-19 from 60% to 100% of their income. The increase will likely be temporary. It will likely be valid in March and April 2021. According to the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Jana Maláčová (ČSSD), the proposal will be discussed by the Chamber of Deputies on March 2, 2021. It will be discussed by the Senate one day later.
