Lidya: With another restriction, 12% companies would have to close down

(ČIA) With the economic downturn again, half of SMEs would have to cut costs. According to a survey by Lidya Czech Republic, they are most often going to reduce operating and staff costs. Some 12% of companies would have to close down. According to Bisnode, more than 50,000 self-employers suspended their activities, which is a fifth more than in 2019. A total of 34% of small and medium-sized enterprises would be able to cope with economic restrictions without any problems. Some 22% of companies in the Czech Republic see a reduction in employee costs as a solution. In Prague, 14% of respondents would use it. The loan would solve the situation of 4% of small and medium-sized enterprises.
